Newlyweds Eric and Jenni Whitlock retire to his desolate mansion where Eric's first wife, Marianne, died in a mysterious and freak accident. Jenni, who has a history of mental illness, begins to see strange things and hear strange noises and believes her husband's first wife may be haunting her...or is it? Or could it be someone else?

Interesting look back to the days of Father Knows Best when guys in film forbid women to do whatever like the husband did. It leaned pretty heavily on story rather than effects that didn't exist. Cool ending with the feeble minded caretaker,. which brought the story full circle. I won't spoil the story for others though. It was probably made before the first version of the film, House on Haunted Hill, so it's more of a film for people who like earlier horror without big splashy effects.
