Tonight's movie is titled "Primeval". Some of the movies that I've found have some nudity or horror movie style violence in them. I will try to warn you ahead of time if there is something that might be disturbing for some but use your own good judgement. Also movies from YouTube tend to be a little darker in the dark scenes so sometime you may want to turn up the brightness on you computer screen. My posting this movie does not change any of the other rules and guidelines that are in place on Halloween Horrors. For example this is still a no nude picture site. You may post videos in a blog but please make sure the movies are not too objectionable (if you have questions ask before you post - and please let me know when you plan to do it).... Enjoy tonights movie :)
Tonight's movie is titled "Primeval" (2007 Rated R Director Michael Katleman) Plotline: A news team is sent to Burundi to capture and bring home a legendary 25-foot crocodile. Their difficult task turns even more deadly when a warlord targets them for death.
I liked the scenery in this movie, of the African countryside and all the wild animals - except for Gustav, he was a disturbed alligator! After watching this, I can understand Tim's reaction about having to travel to Burundi - though his boss Roger assured that he would be safe. At least his friend Steven was able to go on the trip with him (and later meet expert Matt Collins and their local guide). All the chaos, confusion and armed security guards at the airport would be another reason to understand Tim's reaction about travelling there - at least they had Harry to guide them through it (but he wasn't quite what he seemed). After the harrowing boat ride to the village, the group needed the blessing of the local shaman! I liked the line, "this crocodile can't be taken alive." There was a lot of action and suspense - the camp being destroyed, one of the guards stealing money from the tent and the remaining guard shooting and wounding Jacob after being revealed that both guards work for "Little Gustav". I thought Jacob's grenade would have killed Gustav, but it didn't. The scene of the execution was a little gory, especially for the man who lost his head. After another attack by Gustav, you think the group might have been saved once the helicopter arrived, or hoped to at least before "Little Gustav's" men attempt to blow it up. Even with Gustav chasing him, Tim managed to outrun him and find Steven's camera (its too bad what later happened to Steven though). I liked the ending scenes - after finding out that Harry is actually "Little Gustav", Tim attempted to trick him but Harry didn't fall for it, forcing Tim to search for the suitcase. What Gustav later did to Little Gustav was great! At least Tim, Aviva and Jojo managed to escape (and the civil war ends)in the car despite Gustav attempting to kill all of them.
