The 70'th Movie Night

Tonight's movie is titled "Burnt Offerings". Some of the movies that I've found have some nudity or horror movie style violence in them. I will try to warn you ahead of time if there is something that might be disturbing for some but use your own good judgement. Also movies from YouTube tend to be a little darker in the dark scenes so sometime you may want to turn up the brightness on you computer screen. My posting this movie does not change any of the other rules and guidelines that are in place on Halloween Horrors. For example this is still a no nude picture site. You may post videos in a blog but please make sure the movies are not too objectionable (if you have questions ask before you post - and please let me know when you plan to do it).... Tonight's movie is titled "Burnt Offerings" (1976 Rated PG Directed by Dan Curtis) Oliver Reed and Karen Black play the roles of summer caretakers moving into a huge old gothic house with their young son. The problem is the house rejuvenates a part of itself with each death that occurs on its premises.

Karen Black played such a different character in House of 1000 Corpses that I forget that it's her most of the time. Little objects are just the sort of things that get a childs imagination reeling.

Karen Black was awesome in 'Trilogy of Terror', her eyes are captivating, that voodoo doll scared me when I was a kid!!

I remember Karen Black from the movie "Trilogy of Terror" especially in the segment with the voodoo doll.
