The 127th Movie Night

Tonight's movie is titled "GhostHouse"". Some of the movies that I've found have some nudity or horror movie style violence in them. I will try to warn you ahead of time if there is something that might be disturbing for some but use your own good judgment. Also movies from YouTube tend to be a little darker in the dark scenes so sometime you may want to turn up the brightness on you computer screen. My posting this movie does not change any of the other rules and guidelines that are in place on Halloween Horrors. For example this is still a no nude picture site. You may post videos in a blog but please make sure the movies are not too objectionable (if you have questions ask before you post - and please let me know when you plan to do it).... Tonight's film is titled "GhostHouse" (1988 un-rated Director Umberto Lenzi) Plot A radio operator and his girlfriend trace the source of a weird, scary signal that keeps interrupting his radio. They trace it to an old, abandoned house where they meet a group of teenagers staying in it. There the group are terrorised by the apparition of a little girl and her clown doll, who were killed in the house years

Clowns and dolls both have a slightly evil stigma to them.. :)

The odd carnival type music that would play before something terrible happened, and that clown doll... they were creepy - especially when the doll would smile and care rows of razor-sharp teeth. Anyone terrified of clowns would have a hard time watching this movie! The beginning of the movie was strange - the little girl caught with a pair of bloody scissors and both her parents killed like that...Was it the curse that killed them, because the father brought home the doll that was to be buried with someone else? After Jim died from the spinning fan blade, and the insane caretaker attacking Tina then stabbing Mark in the arm with a pitchfork, everyone should have left at that point...Because what later happened to Tina (being sliced in half) and Mark (stabbed in the back repeatedly with garden shears) was gruesome! Even after the events seemingly came to an end, with Paul setting the little girl and doll on fire, the curse remained...Or did it end, for good, after Martha saw the same clown doll in the store window just before Paul was ran over and killed?
