Tonight's movie is titled ""The Curse of the Crimson Altar". Some of the movies that I've found have some nudity or horror movie style violence in them. I will try to warn you ahead of time if there is something that might be disturbing for some but use your own good judgment. Also movies from YouTube tend to be a little darker in the dark scenes so sometime you may want to turn up the brightness on you computer screen. My posting this movie does not change any of the other rules and guidelines that are in place on Halloween Horrors. For example this is still a no nude picture site. You may post videos in a blog but please make sure the movies are not too objectionable (if you have questions ask before you post - and please let me know when you plan to do it).... Enjoy tonights movie :)
Tonight's film is titled "The Curse of the Crimson Altar" (1988 Rated R Director Kevin Tenney) Plot:
Her bluish skin and horns did look like something out of the original Star Trek! You're right, I think the movie was based on H.P. Lovecraft's "The Dreams in a Witch House."

Barbara Steele looked really good with that bluish skin and horns, like something from an old Star Trek show. Acording to a couple places that I read from this movie was somewhat based on Lovecraft's "Dreams in a Witch House" but it's been a long time since I've read it. It's quite a three star movie.
I really liked this movie - Boris Karloff, Christopher Lee and Barbara Steele were great! Christopher Lee's character wasn't as nice as he first seemed to be... (You find that out toward the end of the movie when he put his niece in a trance, tried to sacrifice her to their relative - the witch Lavinia - and after being discovered by Boris Karloff and his attendant, set the house on fire.) I loved the line and the look on Boris Karloff's face (as Professor Marsh) when he said to Robert, after they surprised him in the cemetery, "I have a rather amusing little collection you might be interesting in seeing," and when Robert asked what it was Professor Marsh replied, "instruments of torture." The dreams that Robert had were strange, nightmares as he called them - how he would see his brother, then find himself surrounded by Lavinia (Barbara Steele) and her followers as they performed strange rituals, trying to get him to sign 'the book'. It's too bad that Robert discovered his brother was actually dead! But the ending was great - at least Robert, Eve, Professor Marsh and his attendant were able to escape the large fire, though Christopher Lee didn't. Thanks for posting this, it was really good :)
