I'm showing this animated movie titled "The Halloween Tree" (1993 unrated written and Narrated by Ray Bradbury) before Youtube removes it from their site so watch it quickly while you still have a chance. Plotline: Four children learn the origins of Halloween customs from Mr. Moundshroud (voice of Leonard Nimoy) while trying to save the life of their friend.
I have this on VHS, but I don't think it's available on DVD yet. To me, this is like Halloween's version of "A Christmas Carol" and the book - dare I say it - is even better. It's obvious Ray Bradbury LOVES Halloween - he has the true Halloween spirit.

I was surprised that on www.walmart.com I could only find the book (which is really great too) but being a 93 movie I have my doubts that it would be available except maybe at a super Wal-Mart. Other than that there is of course online buying, I don't think it's out of production even though it's a 93 film. I recorded it from tv myself, but I'm not sure what channel I got it from.
I really enjoyed this movie Dig! Do you know if it is readily available for purchase?I would like to buy it for my kids!Thank you so much for posting this!
