Halloween is about 2 and 1/2 months away, and what better way to get into the spirit of things than to embark on a Zombie crawl/walk. I'll be attending Zombie-O-Rama: A Zombie Crawl in Downtown San Jose. Basically a zombie walk, zombie art show, pub crawl, ending with a screening of "Shaun of The Dead". I was doing a lot of drawing this weekend and this drawing turned out not so bad. I wish I could illustrate stories or some such. Supposing anyone reads this thing, do you make any horror-related art?

A couple remakes are in the works, both of which are vampire-related and which I'll be keeping a close eye on.


"Dark Shadows" (2010)

It pleases me to no end that Tim Burton & Johnny Depp will be filming a remake of "Dark Shadows", a motion picture adaptation of the gothic soap opera, with Depp playing Barnabas Collins. I've heard from a couple of sources that they will begin filming this Summer. Exciting! I loved the series and watched it obsessively as a teenager.
